RDO Truck Centers is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievement of one of our own. Alan Anderson, a technician based out of one of our Nebraska locations, has taken home first place for the second consecutive year at the 2025 Nebraska SuperTech competition.
Hosted by the Nebraska Trucking Association’s Technology & Maintenance Council, this annual competition recognizes the top diesel technicians in the state through a series of rigorous, hands-on challenges and technical tests. This year’s event was held July 17 at Central Community College in Hastings and featured 16 professional and 3 student competitors.
To qualify, participants had to first complete a written ASE-style exam in June, followed by 10 practical stations designed to replicate real-world problems technicians face every day. From diagnosing electrical faults to inspecting drivetrain components.
Alan’s skills stood out across the board. In addition to taking first overall, he also earned top honors in three of the ten testing stations:
- Precision Measurement
- Advanced Electrical
- Power Steering
His victory secures him a spot at the National SuperTech competition, hosted by the American Trucking Associations’ Technology & Maintenance Council this September in Raleigh, North Carolina. There, he’ll represent not just RDO Truck Centers, but the entire state of Nebraska on a national stage.
This win is a testament to Alan’s dedication, expertise, and commitment to doing the job right; qualities we value and encourage across our entire service team. We’re incredibly proud of his accomplishments and look forward to cheering him on at nationals. Congratulations, Alan!
