The new Mack and Volvo truck platform is standard with two RP-1226 connectors (14-PIN FCI connectors) and one 12-pin Yazaki connector that are available at no cost to customers to use in the aftermarket for telematics equipment data. All connectors have industry-standard pin locations for 12V power, 12V ignition, ground, CAN High, and CAN Low. However, there are cases where other factory-installed equipment may utilize one or more of these connections. The graphic below identifies all connector locations and page 2 identifies other factory-installed options that utilize each connector, making open usage unavailable in the aftermarket.
